At AlchemHer CIC, we specialise in supporting women after they have left domestic abuse or toxic relationships.

We work with charities, councils, NHS teams and community organisations across the UK and internationally to ensure women receive safe, trauma-informed post-separation support.

This page outlines how to refer, who we support, and how partnerships work.

Who We Work With

We welcome referrals and partnerships from:

  • Domestic abuse charities & refuges
  • Local authority teams (Early Help, Family Support, VAWG, Housing)
  • NHS & GP practices
  • Social prescribers and mental health teams
  • Schools, family hubs and safeguarding leads
  • Faith-based groups
  • Community organisations
  • International agencies supporting women abroad

Who we Support

We accept referrals for women who:

  • Have left domestic abuse, coercive control or toxic relationships
  • Are in the early or ongoing stages of rebuilding their lives
  • Need emotional support, safety guidance or empowerment
  • Are 18+ (we support mothers but not minors directly)
  • Are based in the UK or internationally (virtual services available)

We do not provide crisis intervention, emergency accommodation or legal representation, but we will signpost safely.

What we Deliver

Our services are designed to complement statutory and voluntary sector provision by focusing on emotional stabilisation, confidence rebuilding, and peer-based recovery, supporting women to move forward safely and sustainably.

How Support Is Delivered

Support may be delivered through:

  • Time-limited support pathways aligned with referral needs
  • Signposting and onward referral where appropriate

Delivery can be adapted to align with existing referral pathways and local priorities.

We operate with full safeguarding compliance, including:

  • Risk Assessment Framework
  • Complaints & Whistleblowing procedure

All safeguarding concerns are acknowledged within 24 hours and responded to in line with our safeguarding procedures, including escalation to statutory services where required.


How to Refer Someone

1. Secure email referral

Send the following details to:

  • Consent confirmation
2. Online Referral Form

Professionals can use the referral form on our contact page to refer a client.

What Happens After a Referral

We follow a clear, trauma-informed process to ensure every referral is handled safely, ethically, and effectively.

  1. Referral Review – Referrals reviewed within 48 hours for suitability and safeguarding.
  2. Participant Contact – We explain the service, confirm consent, and arrange next steps.
  3. Safeguarding – Concerns acknowledged and assessed within 24 hours, escalated if required.
  4. Support Delivery – Structured group or 1:1 emotional recovery sessions.
  5. Outcomes & Feedback – Engagement and well-being tracked; anonymous updates provided where agreed.

Alchemher CIC bridges crisis services and longer-term recovery, supporting women safely and effectively.
