“In the early days after leaving my relationship, I was still deeply affected by the abuse and trauma I had experienced. I felt isolated, confused, and emotionally vulnerable. I attended a few support groups but none seemed to provide a sense of belonging, a sisterhood, somewhere I could heal and rebuild.

6 months into my healing journey, I created what is now AlchemHer CIC while I was still trying to rebuild myself. It started as a small support group because I genuinely needed a space to be heard, understood, and held up by other women who got it.
And that group changed everything.

It became the steady ground I stood on when I felt like going back. It kept me accountable to my healing. It showed me that I wasn’t alone, but most importantly I learned through other women that spaces like AlchemHer are scarce yet necessary.

If I didn’t have that peer support, I genuinely believe I could have returned to a situation that would have harmed me emotionally, spiritually and mentally.

What began as a survival space has grown into a trauma-informed community helping women move from crisis to confidence. AlchemHer CIC exists because support saved me, and now it’s saving others”.
